About Masjid Baitussalaam

Masjid Baitussalaam is a faith-based, non-profit Islamic center based in Springfield, Massachusetts, committed to serving the religious, educational, and social needs of Muslims in the region.

We strive to provide a welcoming space for all—offering daily prayers, Islamic learning, community events, and youth programs that help strengthen faith and build lasting bonds. While deeply rooted in Islamic tradition, we are equally committed to contributing positively to the broader society through service, collaboration, and community outreach.

Baitussalaam is a non-political, community-driven organization that encourages civic awareness and responsible citizenship. We welcome open dialogue with local leaders, elected officials, and community members to promote understanding, unity, and mutual respect—while maintaining our neutral and non-partisan stance.

We aspire to be a center for a thriving Muslim community that reflects the true spirit of Islam — rooted in mercy, unity, and service. Baitussalaam brings together Muslims from diverse cultures and backgrounds, governed with fairness, served with excellence, and guided by the principles of the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the Shari’ah.

Our ultimate aim is to seek the pleasure of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) by upholding His commandments and creating a peaceful, inclusive environment where everyone feels spiritually connected and socially supported.
